Q: Where are you located? Can I just pick up my order?
A: I'm located in Elkhorn, NE - just on the west end of Omaha. If you're local and would like to pick your order up rather than have it shipped, that's no problem! Just select Local Pickup at checkout and you’ll receive instructions when your order is ready.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: Orders over $55 will ship for free. Otherwise, I charge a flat, low-cost rate to help offset what I pay for shipping.
Q: Can your earrings be safe for sensitive or recently pierced ears?
A: YES! Nearly all of my designs are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel posts or hooks - even the golden ones - and you can see that info on each product’s page. I have had many, many people tell me that Hooked Earrings are the only ones they haven't had sensitivity issues with.
Q: Do you ever participate in fundraisers or make custom designs for groups?
A: I love working with schools/PTOs/Booster Clubs to create custom designs! Message me and we can talk about what I can do for your group. :)
Q: do you offer gift cards?
A: I sure do! To purchase one, just use the link HERE. Some info about gift cards:
- to purchase a gift card for someone else, simply print or forward the gift card email you receive after check out.
- gift cards hold a balance and can be used over more than one order
- they are applied to the total value of the order, which may include tax and shipping.
Q: Is there anywhere local that I can shop your earrings in person?
A: The best selection will always be here on my website, and I typically fill local pickup orders very quickly... if you're in a time crunch and have to order last minute, just send me a message and I'll see if I can accommodate! There are also a handful of great local small businesses that carry Hooked Earrings and I typically share updated information on my social media pages. Two local places that I stock personally and control the selection of inventory at are Gigi's Cupcakes in West Omaha near Village Pointe, and B Soda Shop & Boutique in Gretna!
Q: I've lost some of my earring backs! Can I get more?
A: of course! Just add a note with your next order and I'll toss some in.
Q: What does the HLE in your web address stand for?
A: Handcrafted Leather Earrings, which goes back to the focus of Hooked when I started it. It is also in the url for my Facebook page www.facebook.com/HookedHLE
Q: How do you make those? Where do you buy your supplies?
A: Many different ways, many different places. :) I started from scratch and have invested a lot time, money, and effort in experimenting with these things and determining what is best for my business. I choose to keep all of that information to myself.
Q: Do you do wholesale?
